I will give you what is admittedly an experience of one person, i.e. myself, a 65 year old male. I used to take a Vitamin D supplement at night, something like 5 times the recommended daily dose, and I discovered, quite by accident, that I had high blood pressure (140/90) in the morning, which would drop to normal (less than 125/80 to 85) in the afternoon. I stopped taking the supplement, and this problem disappeared.
